The Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology - Pakistan (APIIT-PAK) has been setup in Karachi in collaboration with APIIT-MALAYSIA. APIIT-PAK has been conceived to poise the acute shortage of information technology (IT) personnel at all levels in Pak and is envisioned to be a regional center of excellence .

The principle sponsors of APIIT-PAK include Q Systems Computers Inc. , USA ; SAPURA Group of Malaysia ; and a group of professionals from Sri-Lanka and Pakistan. It provides professional education and training in IT. APIIT-PAK offers a complete range of high quality courses in information technology ranging from Specialized IT Program to Diploma and Masters degree programs. To complement these courses APIIT-PAK has invested in state-of-the art branded equipment from leading hardware and software houses.

The Agenda for APIIT-PAK is to be a one-stop center for IT education and training.
